Bio

Dr. Rudraraju graduated in the top five percent of her class at Andhra Medical College in India. She received medals in both Pathology and Otorhinolaryngology for placing first in these branches in medical school.

 

She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.

 

Dr. Rudraraju completed a fellowship in Hepatology and Liver Transplantation at Mayo Clinic Arizona’s Department of Internal Medicine/Transplant Medicine in Phoenix, Arizona. She completed a second fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at University of Oklahoma Health Science Center in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. During her training she received the award for outstanding fellow.

 

Dr. Rudraraju is board certified in Internal Medicine. She is member of several professional associations including the American Medical Association, American College of Gastroenterology, American Gastroenterology Association and the American Association for the Study of Liver Diseases.

 

As the newest member of the Liver Disease and Transplant Team, “Dr. Raju” brings tremendous energy and passion to the treatment of patients with liver disease.

Madhavi Rudraraju, MD
 
I firmly believe in prevention and cure. Aside from infectious disease where we use antibiotics, transplantation is the only other area of medicine where you can actually CURE disease—not just manage it. That is truly what made me want to work in this field.
