The program was established in 1986 and has performed nearly 300 heart transplants and 100 cardiac assist device implantations to date.

We have the best 1-year patient survival rate (source: www.us.transplant.org) among heart transplant centers in central and south Texas.

The Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant clinic offers on-site services, including:
