Ashley graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. She also has a Bachelor of Science degree with a certification in Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas.
Following graduation, Ashley worked as a Physician Assistant at South Plains Rural Health Services–Lamesa Primary Health Clinic in Lamesa, Texas where provided primary care for indigent patients.
In 2003, she joined Covenant Health System—Joe Arrington Cancer Institute in Lubbock, Texas. In addition to developing her expertise in treating patients with a wide variety of oncologic diagnoses, she spent more than two years focusing on hematological malignancies and stem cell transplantation.
Ashley is a member of several professional organizations including the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Texas Academy of Physician Assistants.
She joined Texas Transplant Physician Group’s Adult Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplant Program in September, 2010.
